Karen and Stuart are busy professionals with two adult sons still living at home. Neither has much time to spend maintaining a complex garden. So, we kept the planting palette simple, using fewer species but more of each. This courtyard features a stunning mural composed of bold blue and yellow tiles. We selected plants that would hold up in the heavy clay soils on site whilst complementing this dramatic artwork. The patio has been opened to maximise the space available to this family to socialise.
