Volunteering is a great way to meet people and to support your local community. Given our love for tomatoes and garlic, it is perhaps no surprise then that we have ended up lending a helping hand to the Tasmanian Garlic & Tomato Festival over the last couple of years. We generally just muck in and help with whatever is required, although we have particularly enjoyed helping put the program together as it means we get to meet (and learn from) some great horticulturists and chefs.
